CLEAN UP DAY A HUGE SUCCESS

Ms. Simspson and the LEAD Service Club would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who came by for the event, even if it was just to stop in and say hi. Mr. Sidley, Ms. Peaks, Ms. Enterline, Ms. Harris, Mr. Satyshur and Mr. Kane deserve a special shout-out for really helping to get things running, organizing so many people, providing resources, and donating a large portion of their Saturday. We had a huge turn out of around 60 LEADers, parents, and siblings, plus 20 TSU students. We were able to paint the gym so all the walls are now white and also paint both side rooms in the Cafe. We removed the marks from the walls in the stairwells and hallways, weeded everything in the front of the school, and removed all the old cardboard in the back of the school. It was wonderful to see so many people from our community working together to beautify the school.

Following the service day, a few LEADers joined Ms. Simpson at TSU for a lunch celebration of community service. The TSU students were excited about the event and about partnering with the LEADers for future service projects.
